GOD FORBID: New Video Interview With DOC COYLE Available

Rafi (a.k.a. DeathWish) of VampireFreaks.com conducted an interview with guitarist Doc Coyle of New Jersey metal titans GOD FORBID during this year's Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival. Watch the seven-minute chat below.

GOD FORBID has recruited former HIMSA axeman Matt Wicklund to handle second-guitar duties on the road following the recent departure of Dallas Coyle.

Former DARKEST HOUR axeman Kris Norris played second guitar for GOD FORBID during the recently completed No Fear Energy Tour with LAMB OF GOD, AS I LAY DYING, CHILDREN OF BODOM and MUNICIPAL WASTE.

GOD FORBID's new album, "Earthsblood", sold around 5,400 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan, to land at position No. 110 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD debuted at No. 2 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

GOD FORBID's previous album, "IV: Constitution of Treason", entered The Billboard 200 chart at No. 119 in September 2005 after shifting 8,300 units.
